Our History
Fundación El Caribe Hace País was founded in the city of Sincelejo with a commitment to advancing the artistic and cultural development of the Colombian Caribbean. From the beginning, our work has grown through dialogue and collaboration with cultural practitioners, communities, and institutions committed to creating new experiences around culture.
Over time, the organization has grown into a broader cultural practice, bringing together artistic creation, training, circulation, research, and cultural memory. This evolution has opened new ways of working with artists, communities, and institutions, while creating spaces for exchange and collaboration across the Colombian Caribbean.
Our story continues to grow alongside the Colombian Caribbean, bringing our projects to new spaces and building meaningful collaborations across and beyond the region.
